Banaan Lisa
Dank u!
My cap
I finally finished work on my new dadaistic cap:

The last line, “vers ei went”, is sort of dutch and means something like “one gets accustomed to fresh egg”.
Purple Frog

“People have been wondering about the closest relative of Sooglossidae, the ones that live on the Seychelles,” Bossuyt told the Reuters news agency.
“There was a theory that maybe the closest relative was in India and had become extinct. But now we have found Nasikabatrachus sahyadrensis, and it looks different than expected,” he added.
A myriad ways to wake up
Great, this drawing… makes me think of my own dreams, ’cause every other night I dream I am walking up a ladder or staircase. And when I am up, I find I am not able to go down any more…
Check out his other drawings of rooms and notice how often there is a bed in it.

New default browser
As of today, I’ll use a new browser as a standard.
Comparing to others, Internet Explorer was always faster… but Manuzhai pointed me to Firebird 0.7, with an extra hack to make it much faster than that!
It took some searching to find where I had to change things under Windows XP, so I’ll point it out here:
- In the installed Firebird-directory (e.g. c:Program FilesMozillaFirebird) go to the directory defaults, and in that directory go to the directory pref.
- Open the file all.js in a text-editor.
As Manuzhai points out in the comments, there is an easier way: just browse to about:config… ;-)
- Search for the string nglayout.initialpaint.delay, and change its default value of 250 to 0.
That’s it! You now should have a extremely fast browser…
(By the way, as you see, I start to internationalize Knurpslog a bit; so from time to time english posts will appear.)

Aan zo’n boom zie je echt
